Learning to knit would be a great gift for Mom!  It is the gift that keeps on giving!  There are gift certificates available at My Toy Garden.  We are going to make a case for all of your needs.  It can be a sunglasses case, no, it's a game case, no, it's a phone case...  Which is it?  You decide!  In this class we will be making a knit case to hold whatever you want.  You can also add a few cute buttons to add some flair.  Stop by My Toy Garden to sign up for my next class.  It is on Friday, May 3rd from 5 - 7 pm.

My friend, Chef Jan, made a beautiful cookie bouquet for the auction and to thank her, I whipped up this cute little cake.  I love how it came out!  It was a nice quick knit and she also loves it!  I have a feeling I will be make more

Tonight is the night to come out to the Smoky Row Elementary Carnival!  Enjoy games, watch one of our esteemed teachers kiss a pig and bid on a terrific item in the auction.  Rocky the Rocket could come home with you, if you are the highest bidder!  He needs a good home!  :)

In this class we will learn how to make our projects look professionally done instead of homemade!  We will be learning how to:  pick up stitches, weave in ends, blocking and sewing seams.  This class will take your knitting to a whole new level! 

Yes, if you thought you heard someone scream "NO!" last night - it was me!  I ran out of white yarn on my snowflake sweater at the top of the snowflake!  This sweater is a stash buster project and I have had a horrible time finding 1 ball of white Louisa Harding Kashmir DK yarn!  Finally, ebay came through and they had some!  It is now flying its way to my house.  My plan is to knit the snowflake out of the new white yarn (and surely a different dye lot) and finish the rest of the white details in the old yarn.  At least I thought to try on the sweater to see if it fits and luckily enough it does!  Seems a bit big in the color work section, so I am going to try to tighten up a bit.
