It has finally happened!  I am knitting something for me!!  I am so very excited!  Making a few changes (of course!)...  I can't seem to actually knit anything anymore without making changes...  The main color is a lilac purple with white snowflakes and dark gray accents.  The length is going to be a bit shorter and I am not knitting the bottom row of snowflakes.  Hopefully, I will have enough yarn!!

I saw this commercial last night and just had to giggle!  I would start drinking 5 hour drinks if I could actually knit myself a sweater in 5 hours!! 

This one is a couple of years old, but I still love it!  Especially the part where the sock monkey is getting "Mom" tatooed on his arm in blanket stitch!  Too funny!  The lady who knitted the sock monkey costume is on Ravelry, too!

Think about this for a new year resolution... learn to knit or build on your knitting skills in the new year.  What a great resolution!  Enroll in one of my classes and I can help you work on one of your resolutions!  One of my resolutions for 2013 is to learn how to steek!  I have plans to knit myself a Norwegian style sweater with steeks.  I love the idea of knitting in the round instead of making a bunch of different pieces to be sewed together later, but I just don't know if I can actually cut my knitting....  So, it will be a challenging resolution!
