Hey, friends!
I'm super excited to announce that my lace socks pattern has been published in Cast On Magazine Summer 2022 issue! I couldn't be more thrilled about this and am so grateful to everyone who's supported me throughout this process. And if you're a fan of Anzula Squishy yarn—and who isn't?—you'll be thrilled to know that it's been used in these socks! The lace pattern is perfect for showing off the squishiness of this yarn, which is one of my favorite things about it. To get your copy of the pattern and a member of The Knitting Guild Association, head over to their website and click on member resources/ Cast On magazine. You can also check it out on Ravelry! https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/west-hollow Yay! The Gen Con 2022 event catalog is dropping on May 1!! I am offering some great knitting classes this year. Learn to Knit 1 and 2, plus Master Knitting Class: Cables. Also, the super popular “The Child” Baby Yoda class. So looking forward to seeing everyone in person again! August can’t come soon enough! If you have any questions, please drop me a note at info@claireknits or Claireknits Facebook Group! This pocket yeti is a quick knit and the perfect friend for anytime. The little guy is just short of 3 inches tall, which means he can fit in any pocket, but he's also large enough to be seen from across the room. He will be a wonderful addition to your home decor or a sweet gift for anyone you know who loves cold weather and cute stuffies! This is the perfect project for when you're in-between bigger ones and need something quick. Knit in the round with some stash yarn and a spare set of DPNs, the Pocket Yeti will keep your heart full.
The pattern is posted in my Ravelry and Etsy shops. I have been working on adding new classes to my area! There are several classes being taught at Village Yarn Company - teaching Learn to Knit classes and a new Block by Block class. In the Block by Block class, we will be making a series of blocks that can be combined into a blanket, a really long scarf or a set of pillows! These classes are going to be fun!
Also, stay tuned! There are more classes coming!! Hello again! Wow! I have been overwhelmed with the love that Hatarrific has been getting! You all make me blush! There have been a few questions about how to get this going - so I made a quick tutorial! It is a bit fiddly with the small amount of stitches and all those crazy increases, but I am certain you can do it. Please jump over to this video and it will help you get on the right path.
